(March 17, 2020) Business Performance Systems was recently awarded a $250M, 7-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Organization (USPTO), Software Quality Assurance Division (SQAD) to provide quality assurance and testing for software developed for, and used by, USPTO. This includes database testing, functional testing, interface testing, software compatibility testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing, testing in the cloud, performance testing, load testing, mobile testing, cross-browser testing, and Section 508 testing. SQAD supports all aspects of software testing throughout the System Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC). Both automated and manual test methods are used at USPTO to provide testing services.
With this win, BPS continues in its role as the sole provider of performance testing services to the entire USPTO enterprise, currently encompassing over 160+ systems, and expands its offering into the automation/functional arena. BPS has been providing contract-testing services to USPTO since 2010.
